Behind a 25-4 run to open the second half, the Saint Joseph's men's basketball team downed Saint Peter's, 73-57, on Saturday afternoon at Hagan Arena.

• Saint Joseph's jumped out to a 7-2 lead as
Lynn Greer III capped the spurt with a basket inside the paint.
• The Peacocks responded with a 12-3 run to open a 14-10 advantage on a layup with 12:59 left in the first half.
• Saint Peter's used a 12-4 run to open its biggest lead of the half, 30-20, with 4:33 to go in the opening period.
• A layup by
Erik Reynolds II sparked a 7-0 answer by the Hawks as they cut the Peacocks' lead to 30-27.
• Saint Peter's pushed back with six straight points and took a 38-29 lead into the second half.
• The Hawks scored 17 of the first 18 points to start the second half as they opened a 46-39 advantage on a pair of free throws by
Rasheer Fleming at 12:25.
• Holding Saint Peter's to just four points over the opening 11 minutes of the period, Saint Joseph's extended its lead to 54-42 on a three-point play by
Christian Winborne.
• St. Joe's allowed the Peacocks to get no closer to 10 points from there as the Hawks opened their five-game homestand with a victory.
