Cameron Brown scored a game-high 24 points and
Kacper Klaczek added a career-high 21 points as Saint Joseph's wrapped up non-conference play with an 83-66 victory over Central Connecticut State on Thursday evening.
How It Happened
• For the second straight game, the Hawks took control from the tip as a three-pointer by Brown at 16:21 put Saint Joseph's up 15-4.
• The Hawks continued to pull ahead from the Blue Devils, opening a 27-point advantage, 43-16, on a Brown three-pointer with just over a minute left in the first half.
• Saint Joseph's extended its lead to as many as 28, 52-24, on a layup by
Lynn Greer III three minutes into the second half.
• Central Connecticut State battled back to cut the Hawks' lead to 16.
• The Blue Devils would get no closer as St. Joe's held on for the victory in the first meeting between the two teams.

• Brown finished the day 9-18 from the floor, and 6-12 from three-point range, while adding five assists and five rebounds.
• Klaczek passed his previous career-high of 19 points set against Penn earlier this year as he finished the evening 7-8 from the field, 3-4 from behind the arc and 4-5 from the foul line.

Erik Reynolds II was the third Hawk in double figures as he added 15 points, five assists and six rebounds.
• Saint Joseph's finished the night with a season-high 18 assists.
• The Hawks capped the non-conference with two straight wins in which they didn't trail at any point.
