WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The USciences track & field team competed at an indoor event for the first time in nearly two years this weekend, opening its campaign at Monmouth's Winter Collegiate Invitational.
Dylan Zuch set an indoor school record on Saturday, finishing the 3000m in 9:42.77.
Several Devils made their collegiate indoor debut, including Moses Allie, who finished 14th in a field of 59 in the 60m with a time of 7.42.
William Hallinan also placed 14th in a deep field, of 52 in the 800m, crossing in 2:04.14.
Abdallah Elbready set two collegiate indoor bests on the day, in the 200m (25.64) and the 400m (58.06), while Sian Poteat-Romero set one in the 200m (25.24).
Omar Bedak (4x400m) Ashley Ensman (pole vault), Jennifer Marrero (shot put) and Rachel Reese (shot put) notably all made their collegiate debuts over the weekend.
University of the Sciences competes in its second and final indoor event of 2022 at next Sunday's Princeton Invitational.
