CHESTER, Pa. – The USciences track & field team competed in its final regular season event in program history at the Widener Invitational over the weekend.
The Devils now take next weekend off before turning their attention to their final Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship, hosted at Georgian Court, on May 7-8.
Dylan Zuch ran his third CACC Championship qualifying standard in the 10000m, 36:39.72, while also setting a new collegiate personal record (PR) of 4:33.10 in the 1500m.
Sabrina Abbruzzese and Hailey Swaldi also had a CACC Championship qualifying standards, marking at 26.98m in the javelin and clearing a season-best 2.50m in the pole vault, respectively.
Sian Poteat-Romero ran a collegiate PR of 24.75 in the 200m, while Abdallah Elbready, Kimberly Powers, Katie Benincasa, Omar Bedak, Ciaran Dubeck and Kerrigan Clem notably all competed in their last event as Devils.
