GLASSBORO, N.J. – William Hallinan and Jennifer Marrero both moved into the top-five of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in their respective events as USciences Track & Field competed at Rowan's Oscar Moore Invitational on Saturday.
Hallinan posted a top-five finish in a deep field of 49 in the 800m after crossing in 2:04.65, while Marrero marked at a CACC Championship standard of 9.70m to place in the top-half of the field of 22 in the shot put.
Chloe Georges also placed in the top-half of a field with a CACC Championship standard, marking at 28.97m to finish eighth out of 22 in the discus.
Sabrina Abbruzzese (27.16m) and Hannah Leszcynski (25.11m) recorded respective CACC Championship standards in the javelin and hammer for the second week in a row.
Moses Allie crossed 13th out of 29 in the 100m, while Ayush Sood made his collegiate debut in the event.
Kerrigan Clem set two collegiate personal records on the day, in the discus (18.64m) and the shot put (8.15m), while Sian Poteat-Romero (24.81) and Omar Bedak (2:13.84) set new PRs the 200m and 800m, respectively.
University of the Sciences completes for a third consecutive weekend next Friday and Saturday at Widener's Danny Curran Invitational.
