SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team took an early lead and hung on for a 4-3 win over Bucknell at the Central PA Tennis Center on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Hawks opened things up with wins in the second and third doubles flights to secure the doubles point.  Nickolas Frisk and Nassim Fenjiro cruised to a 6-0 shutout in the third before a 6-4 win in the second by Justus Agbo and Alp Sentay clinched the point.

• Fenjiro rolled to victory in the sixth singles flight before Nathan Perrone outlasted his first flight opponent to give the Hawks a 3-0 lead.

• The Bison would battle back, but it was Agbo who sealed the deal with a win in the fifth flight to give the Hawks the match victory.

HAWK TALK
"Hats off to everyone on the team today; they played hard at every position and fought until the last point," head coach Marc Pibernat said.  "It is an important win for us, especially away from Hawk Hill against a very well-coached team.  A shout out to the entire team today but especially to Justus who clinched his first match in college tennis giving the Hawks the win.  Tomorrow the team will rest and Monday we will go back to the drawing board because we will need to have a great week at practice in order to be ready to face NJIT next Saturday on the road again."
