The Saint Joseph's softball team dropped its series finale to George Washington, 8-0, in five innings on Wednesday afternoon at SJU Softball Field.

How It Happened 
• Alexa Williams doubled home Sierra Lange to give George Washington a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
• A double by Hannah Eslick scored Williams to make it 2-0 later in the first.
• Mia Parker tallied the third run of the inning for the Colonials as she scored on a RBI groundout by Maggie Greco.
• Williams connected on a grand slam in the top of the second to extend George Washington's lead to 7-0.
• Eslick added the fifth run of the inning with a RBI single that scored Alessandra Ponce to make it 8-0.

Inside The Boxscore
• Madison Fife went 1-for-2 with a double.
• Jessica Gaughan was 1-for-2 on the afternoon.
• Saige Stutz moved to 0-3 on the season as she allowed six earned runs over an inning plus.
• Emily Siler struck out two and allowed four hits over four innings of relief.
