VILLANOVA, Pa. – Saint Joseph's
Jordan Hinkle went 2-for-3, but the Hawks dropped their midweek matchup at Villanova, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
How It Happened
• The Wildcats scored four runs in the bottom of the first on a bases-loaded hit by pitch, two bases-loaded walks, and a RBI single by Dani Dabroski.
• A solo home run by Paige Rauch extended Villanova's lead to 5-0 in the bottom of the second.
• Rauch scored on a sacrifice fly by Megan Kern in the bottom of the fourth, and on a passed ball in the bottom of the sixth to account for Villanova's final two runs.
