OLEAN, N.Y. – Saint Joseph's pitchers
Emily Siler and
Amanda Herr turned in a pair of dominant performances on Saturday afternoon as the Hawks swept a doubleheader from St. Bonaventure, 9-1 in six innings in the opener and 5-1 in the nightcap.
How It Happened | Game 1
• Olivia Moon gave the Bonnies a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third on a RBI double.
• The Hawks responded with a six-run top of the fourth as
Kaelin Cash got St. Joe's on the board with a two-run home run to make it 2-1.

Kayla Tauber extended the Hawks' lead to 4-1 on a two-run single.
•
Jordan Hinkle capped the inning with a two-run home run to push Saint Joseph's ahead, 6-1.
• A two-run double by Tauber gave the Hawks an 8-1 lead in the top of the sixth.
• Later in the sixth,
Madison Fife connected on a RBI double that scored Tauber to make it 9-1.
• Siler, who allowed just one St. Bonaventure hit after the third inning, set the Bonnies down in order in the bottom of the sixth to secure the win.

• Siler was impressive in the circle as she allowed one earned run on three hits, while striking out seven to improve to 6-7 on the year.
• Tauber finished the game 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored.
• Hinkle was 2-for-4, including her first home run of the season, and drove in two runs.
• Cash connected on her second home run of the year as she went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored.

How It Happened | Game 2
• Saint Joseph's jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first as Tauber scored on a fielder's choice off the bat of
Hailey Malito, and
Sarah Cancila followed with a bases-loaded walk that scored Hinkle.
• Hinkle doubled home Rybinski and Tauber in the top of the second to extend the lead to 4-0.
• St. Bonaventure's Grace Perechinsky made it 4-1 in the bottom of the third on a solo home run.
• A throwing error by the Bonnies on a double steal allowed
Karlee Smith to score from third to push the Hawks ahead 5-1 in the fifth.
• Herr kept St. Bonaventure off the board over the final four innings to earn the victory.

• Herr improved to 4-4 on the year as she allowed one earned run on five hits, while striking out eight in the complete game victory.
• Tauber was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
• Hinkle was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored.
• Cancilca went 2-for-3 with a RBI.
