RICHMOND, Va. – Saint Joseph's four-game win streak was snapped Sunday afternoon with a 21-7 loss to conference favorite Richmond. The Hawks fall to 7-5 overall and 3-1 in league play, while the nationally ranked Spiders move to 10-2, 4-0 A-10.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Spiders jumped ahead 6-2 in the first period.
• Richmond expanded its lead with a 7-3 margin in the second for a 13-5 lead at the half.
• A 4-1 advantage in the third stanza increased the Hawks' deficit to 11 at 17-6.
• The fourth quarter differential of 4-1 in favor of the home team sealed the game 21-7.

BEHIND THE BOX SCORE:

• Lauren Figura had a team-high three points with two goals and one assist.
• Sophia Kolkka scored twice and won eight draw controls.
• Emma O'Neill, Maggie Davidson, and Bonnie Yu all tallied a goal.
• Julia Strobel dished out an assist.
• Riley Evans won six draw controls and scooped up three ground balls.
• Jorden Concordia took the loss with eight saves and 21 goals against.
