PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Saint Joseph's
Jiselle Daniels and
Mairin Boyle each scored second half goals to help the Hawks' women's soccer team fight back to earn a 2-2 draw at Duquesne on Sunday afternoon.
How It Happened
• Duquesne got on the board first as Jami Araujo scored at 27:42.
• The Dukes opened a 2-0 lead at 48:47 off of a defensive miscue by Saint Joseph's that led to an own goal.
• Daniels cut the deficit to 2-1 less than a minute later as she gathered a rebound and drilled a shot to the back right corner of the net at 49:39.
• Boyle evened the game at 2-2 as she took a misplayed ball by Duquesne and drilled a long shot that skipped past the goalkeeper at 51:07.
