Cameron Brown matched his career-high with 25 points, but the Hawks fell to Duquesne, 92-80, on Wednesday evening at Hagan Arena.
How It Happened
• Duquesne took control from the tip as the Dukes ran out to a 10-2 lead.
• Saint Joseph's battled back as a three-pointer by Brown brought the Hawks to within 23-19.
• The Dukes answered with seven consecutive points to push their lead to 30-19 on a three-pointer by Dae Dae Grant at 10:22.
• Duquesne, who led 60-44 at halftime, built its lead to as many as 23 in the second half, but the Hawks continued to fight.
• A three-pointer by Brown brought St. Joe's to within 14, 83-69.
• Despite challenging the Dukes until the final whistle, the Hawks' rally fell short as they moved to 5-4 at home on the season.

• Brown matched his previous career-high mark of 25 points that he set at Temple earlier this season.
• Brown finished the night 8-14 from the floor, 6-11 from three-point range, and 3-4 from the foul line, while he added seven rebounds and two assists.

Rasheer Fleming had a season-high 15 points to go with a game-high nine rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

Ejike Obinna shot 6-9 from the field and 2-4 from the foul line for a season-high 14 points, and grabbed six rebounds.

Christian Winborne was the fourth Hawk in double figures as he finished with 10 points to go with three assists.

Erik Reynolds II handed out a game-high seven assists and scored nine points.
• The Hawks had a season-high 19 assists.
