Averaging 22.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, while leading Saint Joseph's to a 2-0 record, senior Cameron Brown has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, organization officials announced on Monday.

At La Salle last Monday, Brown finished with a team-high 20 points and added four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a blocked shot in a 71-59 victory. He followed with a stellar performance in a 74-68 win over UMass as he matched his career-high with 25 points on 9-12 shooting, including 4-7 from distance, and added six boards and two steals. Over the two contests, Brown shot 62.5 percent from the floor and 57.1 percent from three-point range.

Starting all 19 games this season, Brown is averaging a career-high 14.6 and 5.9 rebounds per game, while leading the A-10 in three-pointers per game (3.1). A four-year starter, Brown is three points shy of becoming the 58th Hawk in program history to reach the 1,000 point mark for his career.

Saint Joseph's is back in action on Wednesday at George Washington. Tip time is set for 7 p.m.
