How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's took a 1-0 advantage off of a George Mason miscue at 6:50 as the Patriots knocked in an own goal off a corner kick by the Hawks.
• George Mason pressed late into the first half to tie the match, but Cappelletti and St. Joe's defense made the 1-0 score stand.
• Vicari sealed the victory in the 89th inning as her corner kick curved inside the far post to make it 2-0.
