Brown Leads Hawks Past Sacred Heart, 64-55

Paced by a team-best 16 points from Cameron Brown, Saint Joseph's led wire-to-wire as the Hawks downed Sacred Heart, 64-55, on Sunday afternoon at Hagan Arena.

How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's jumped out to a 10-0 lead as the Hawks connected on 4-5 from the field, while limiting Sacred Heart to 0-2 and causing a pair of turnovers on the defensive end.
• The Pioneers pushed back with nine straight points to pull within 10-9.
• A three-pointer by Cameron Brown extended the Hawks' lead to 20-12.
• Sacred Heart fought back to within 23-20, but St. Joe's ended the half on an 11-2 run to take a 34-22 lead into halftime.
• The Hawks scored the first five points of the second half to open their biggest lead of the game, 39-22, on a dunk by Rasheer Fleming at 18:53.
• A three-point play by the Pioneers' Nico Galette brought the Pioneers to within five, 44-39.
