CHARLESTON, S.C. – Saint Joseph's six-game win streak was snapped on Thursday night as the Hawks fell to the College of Charleston, 89-82, at TD Arena.

• Saint Joseph's scored the opening basket of the contest, but the College of Charleston answered with eight straight points to open an 8-2 advantage.
• A layup by
Erik Reynolds II tied the contest at 8-8.
• The Cougars countered with a 17-2 run to push ahead 25-10 on a three-pointer by Reyne Smith at 11:01.
• An offensive rebound and putback by
Lynn Greer III capped a 7-0 run by the Hawks and brought them to within 26-18.
• Back-to-back three-pointers by the Cougars extended their lead to 31-18.
• A three-pointer play by Reynolds II brought the Hawks to within 31-27 with 3:23 remaining in the first half.
• The College of Charleston scored 10 of the final 14 points of the period to take a 41-30 lead into halftime.
• A three-pointer by Reynolds II capped an 8-0 run and brought St Joe's to within 38-44 less than three minutes into the second half.
• The College of Charleston pushed its lead back to 11, 51-40, but the Hawks continued to fight as a three-point play by

Cameron Brown made it 83-82 with 37 seconds remaining.
• Brozic pushed the Cougars lead to 85-82 on a free throw with 14.9 seconds left.
• Out of a timeout, Reynolds II put up a game-tying three-pointer, only to have it miss the mark as the College of Charleston grabbed the rebound and closed the game out at the foul line.
