BRONX, N.Y. – After completing one of the most successful non-conference campaigns in program history, the Hawks look to take the momentum on the road when they open Atlantic 10 action against Fordham on Saturday afternoon.

• The Hawks finished the non-conference season on a high with a Hawk Classic championship to add to the trophy case, overcoming an early deficit to take down UAB.
• St. Joe's saw the deficit climb to as many as eight points in the early stages of the game. However, a 16-point unanswered run from the Hawks to start the second quarter helped the Hawks gain the lead. With the Hawks leading by just two points in the fourth quarter, defensive stands from the Crimson and Gray helped extend the lead out of reach from the Blazers to earn their 11th win of the season.

Chloe Welch added 22 points and 10 rebounds for her first career double-double as a Hawk.
Laura Ziegler added 20 points in the win, while

• The Hawks are 38-15 all-time against the Rams.
• St. Joe's won 18 of the first 19 matchups between the teams, but Fordham has had the better of the Hawks over the last 15 games with an 11-4 record.
• SJU is currently on a six-game losing streak over Fordham, only averaging 43 points a game in that span. Only last year did the Hawks score over 50 points in a game in that span.

• The Hawks' 11-1 start is the best record for head coach
Cindy Griffin in her 23 years on the sidelines for the Hawks. The start is the best since 1976-77, where St. Joe's opened the season 16-1.
• Four different Hawks enter the matchup averaging double-digits on the season. The last time the Hawks had four scorers with double figures was the 2017-18 season.
• St. Joe's is 21-3 over the last two years in non-conference action, with two of the three losses against ranked opponents in that span.

Talya Brugler became the 29th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points, doing so with a 24-point outburst against New Hampshire in the opening game in the Hawk Classic.

• The Rams enter with the best mark in the Atlantic 10 when it comes to collecting steals, knotting 11.6 per game to rank 21st in the country. Fordham shoots just 40.5%, ranking in the middle of the conference. The Rams do crash the offensive glass, however, grabbing 12.8 offensive rebounds per game.
• Taylor Donaldson leads the Atlantic 10 in points per game, dropping 18.9 points per game - 47th in the country. Donaldson only trails Kyla McMakin from Saint Louis in the A-10 in field goals attempted on the year with 178. Donaldson also adds 2.8 steals per game.
• Aminata Ly and Matilda Flood combine to average nearly 13 rebounds per game. Taya Davis paces the team with 3.5 assists per game, while Emy Hayford adds double-digit scoring with 11.7 points, 2.3 assists and 2.4 steals.
