TAMPA – Saint Joseph's softball team capped play at the USF-Rawlings Tournament on Sunday as the Hawks fell to the host Bulls, 4-0, at USF Stadium.
How It Happened
• USF took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third on a two-run home run by Lydia Castro.
• The Bulls struck for two more runs in the bottom of the fifth to extend their lead to 4-0.
• Saint Joseph's would get two runners on in the top of the seventh for a potential rally, but USF worked out of the jam to end the game.
