HARRISONBURG, Va. – Saint Joseph's continued play at the JMU Duke Invitational on Saturday with a pair of dominant wins as the Hawks topped Radford, 11-5, in the opener, and downed Coppin State, 7-1, in game two.
How It Happened - Game One
• Radford took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second on a RBI single by Cassi Barbato.
• The Hawks tied it in the top of the fourth as
Lauren Pscolka scored on a RBI single by
Payton Baxter.
• Pinch runner
Riley York put St. Joe's up 2-1 later in the fourth as she scored on a throwing error by Radford off a bunt by
Jenna Currie.
• Saint Joseph's continued to add to their lead in the fourth as
Meghan Sinkus singled home Currie and
Hailey Malito to make it 4-1.

Madison Fife capped the seven-run fourth inning with a three-run home run to push the Hawks ahead 7-1.
• Radford cut Saint Joseph's lead to 7-2 in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI single by Cori McMillan.
• A two-run double by Sinkus pushed the Hawks' lead to 9-2 in the top of the fifth.

Kaelin Cash capped the four-run fifth with a two-run home run to make it 11-2.
• Radford rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fifth to cut Saint Joseph's lead to 11-5.
• Neither team would score over the final two innings as St. Joe's picked up its second consecutive win over Radford.

• Cash connected on a three-run home run to make it 3-0.
• Fife followed with a solo home run to push the Hawks' lead to 4-0.
• A sacrifice fly by Currie scored
Jessica Gaughan, and Baxter scored on a RBI groundout by
Riley York for the final two runs of the first.
• Baxter extended the lead to 7-0 in the third with a solo home run.
• Coppin State got a run back in the bottom of the third, but that would be as close as St. Joe's would allow them to get.

Emily Siler improved to 3-5 on the season as the SJU starter allowed one run on five hits, while striking out nine over 6.0 innings.
