The Saint Joseph's softball team opened the home portion of its schedule with a 4-0 victory over Drexel on Thursday afternoon at SJU Softball Field.
How It Happened

Payton Baxter put Saint Joseph's up 2-0 in the bottom of the first on a two-run double that scored
Meghan Sinkus and
Madison Fife.

Jessica Gaughan followed with a single through the right side, allowing Baxter to score from second to make it 3-0.
•
Madison Fife made it 4-0 in the third inning with a RBI single that scored Sinkus.
• Saint Joseph's didn't allow a Drexel runner to get past second base over the final four innings.
