CHICAGO – The Saint Joseph's softball team fell to Loyola Chicago in both games of a doubleheader on Sunday as the Ramblers took the opener, 4-0, and won game two, 9-1, five innings.
How It Happened - Game One
• After four scoreless innings, Loyola Chicago broke through four four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 4-0 lead.
• The Ramblers scored their first run on a RBI single by Tori Boysen.
• Sierra Sass and Madison Ebeling accounted for the other three runs with RBI doubles later in the fifth.
Inside The Boxscore - Game One

Meghan Sinkus went 1-for-3 with a stolen base.
•
Jules Scogna moved to 2-2 on the season as she allowed four runs on four hits, while striking out three.
How It Happened - Game Two
• Loyola Chicago scored twice in the bottom of the first to open a 2-0 lead.
• A three-run home run by Ebeling made it 5-0 in the second.
• The Ramblers extended their lead to 8-0 in the third inning with three runs.

Kaelin Cash doubled home
Sarah Cancila to make it 8-1 in the top of the fourth.
• A double steal allowed Loyola Chicago to steal home and push its lead to 9-1 in the bottom of the fourth.
Inside The Boxscore - Game Two
• Cash was 2-for-2 with a RBI.
• Cancila was 1-for-2 with a run scored.

Emily Siler moved to 6-7 as she allowed four earned runs over 2.0 innings.
