Emily Hanrahan tallied a team-best two shots, but host Bucknell held off the Hawks, 4-0, in Thursday's season opener at Emmitt Field.
How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's attacked early, earning a pair of corner kicks, but were thwarted by Bucknell's defense in both chances.
• The Bison's Henna Andican put her team ahead 1-0 on a goal at 26:32.
• Bucknell added to their lead off a set piece as Paige Temple's header found the back of the net to make it 2-0 at 60:12.
• Teresa Deda and Lea Tarzy each added an insurance goal over the next six minutes to push the Bison ahead 4-0.
