EASTON, Pa. – Saint Joseph's senior
Sam Dumont scored her first goal of the season, but a pair of second-half goals by Lafayette lifted the Leopards past the Hawks, 2-1, on Thursday evening at Mike Bourger Field at Oaks Stadium.
How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's took a 1-0 lead at 40:42 as Dumont took advantage of an errant clearing chance by Lafayette and scored inside the box.
• Lafayette tied the match at 1-1 less than eight minutes into the second half as Nadia Zaffanella scored for the Leopards at 51:27.
• Sara Oswald put host Lafayette up 2-1 just over seven minutes later as she scored off a centering pass by Alexa Jindal at 58:34.
