• The Hawks recovered after taking their first conference loss against Richmond, rebounding with a win over last year's Atlantic 10 tournament champion Saint Louis on the road in a 69-57 win.
• St. Joe's dominated over the course of the first 20 minutes,
Laura Ziegler hitting a three as the first half expired to give the Hawks a 17-point lead. Over the course of the second half, the hosts chipped away to cut the deficit to as little as six points before Ziegler helped extend the gap for an eventual 12-point victory.

Duquesne also ranks in the upper echelon of the conference in blocks, tallying 4.9 per game.
• Megan McConnell is the engine of the Duquesne roster, leading the team in scoring (12.6), rebounds (8.1), assists (4.7) and steals (2.4) per game. McConnell ranks 15th in the country and leads the A-10 with a 2.92-1 assist-to-turnover ratio while ranking third in the conference in assists per game. McConnell's high motor allows her to average 38.3 minutes per game, ranking first in the country.
• While McConnell dictates the offense, there is more than enough firepower to go around as nearly four different players average double-digits. Naëlle Bernard (11.3) and Tess Myers (10.1) average double figures, ranking second and third among Atlantic 10 players in three pointers with 42 and 41 makes, respectively. Amaya Hamilton also adds 9.6 points per game.
