In a back-and-forth contest that featured eight lead changes and seven ties, Loyola Chicago held off Saint Joseph's, 78-75, Saturday afternoon at Hagan Arena. St. Joe's
Erik Reynolds II led all scorers with a game-high 26 points.

Xzayvier Brown's three-point play capped a 7-0 run by the Hawks as he tied the contest at 11-11.
• The Ramblers opened a seven-point lead, 24-17, on a pair of free throws by Des Watson at 9:48.
• Saint Joseph's battled back to take its first lead, 28-26, on a three-point play by Reynolds II.
• Loyola Chicago retook the lead and entered halftime ahead 39-36.
• Reynolds II put the Hawks in front once again as his steal and dunk made it 45-44 just over three minutes into the second half.
• Ahead 57-55, Saint Joseph's used an 11-4 run to open a 68-59 lead on a three-pointer by Reynolds II with 6:13 to play.
• Behind a 13-3 run, Loyola Chicago tied the game at 71-71 on a Dame Adelekun basket at 2:42.
• Reynolds II put the Hawks back ahead, 73-71, on a pair of free throws.
