• A gritty defensive battle in Kingston saw the St. Joe's and Rhode Island trade eight lead changes, the Hawks holding off a fourth quarter charge from the Rams to win the fourth-straight game of the season to remain undefeated on the road.
• The two teams traded blows over the course of the first half, St. Joe's biggest lead throughout the first 20 minutes only climbing to as high as seven with the final basket of the half. The Hawks built a 10-point lead headed into the fourth, a deficit that Rhode Island erased in the first five minutes of the final quarter.
Mackenzie Smith and
Chloe Welch scored all nine points in the quarter to hold off the Rams in the win.

• Dani Haskell paces the team with 12.9 points per game, recently eclipsing 1,000 points for her career in the defeat against Duquesne. Haskell ranks second in the conference in three-point attempts (131). Nadechka Laccen does a little of everything for St. Bonaventure, bumping her average points per game by more than three points with a clip of 10.9 ppg. Laccen also ranks first on the team in steals (1.6), second in rebounds (5.2) and assists per game (1.9).
