• The Hawks continued to roll in the early stages of the Atlantic 10 schedule, blowing past George Washington in a comfortable 67-47 win in the A-10 home opener.
• St. Joe's was able to garner a six-point advantage briefly in the first quarter, but both sides traded blows back and forth as SJU only held a 31-27 lead at the half. 16-straight points as part of a 21-5 third quarter blew the doors open, the Hawks able to turn up the defense and cruise to a 20-point win for the sixth win in the last seven against GW.
• Talya Brugler finished 8-10 from the field for a game-high 21 points to move to 22nd in the SJU all-time scoring list. Laura Ziegler added 18 points and eight rebounds, while Chloe Welch posted a 16-point, eight-rebound and four-assist night for the Hawks.

• The Hawks' 13-1 start is the best record for head coach Cindy Griffin in her 23 years on the sidelines for the Hawks.
• St. Joe's enters the week as one of two teams in the A-10 receiving votes in the WBCA Coaches Poll, the second week the Hawks have received votes in the past two seasons.
• Talya Brugler became the 29th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points, doing so with a 24-point outburst against New Hampshire in the opening game in the Hawk Classic. Brugler moved to 22^nd overall in program history after scoring 21 points against George Washington to 25^th overall in program history in points.
• St. Joe's enters as one of the top 40 best defenses in the country, allowing just 55.4 points per game. SJU is one of five A-10 teams to rank in the top 40.

• Richmond is a dynamic offense that can score at every position, the Spiders ranking 25th in the country in field goal percentage by knocking down 47.4% of their attempts. From three, the Spiders also shoot at an elite rate to rank 19th (37.8%) in the NCAA. Richmond also takes care of the ball at an efficient rate, only conceding 12.7 turnovers per game.
• Maggie Doogan leads as one of four Spiders that average double-digits per game, dropping 16.6 points per night to rank second in the Atlantic 10. Doogan shoots the ball at 54.3%, having made the most field goals in the A-10. Grace Townsend adds 12.3 points per game with one of the best free throw percentages in the country at 87.2%. Townsend also ranks second in conference play with 4.8 assists per game.
• Rachel Ullstrom (11.4) and Addie Budnik (11.3) round out the top scorers in the bunch, Budnik making a name defensively as well by averaging 2.07 blocks per game to lead the Atlantic 10.
