WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's graduate student Manu Ghigliotti was named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Ghigliotti collected three goals and added a pair of assists as the eighth-ranked Hawks posted a 2-0 mark on the weekend.
 
On Friday, she scored twice and set up two more goals as the Hawks shattered multiple records and put up the most dominant offensive display in conference history in a 13-1 defeat of Lock Haven.
 
Two days later, the Buenos Aires, Argentina, native scored on a penalty corner late in overtime to lift the Hawks to a 1-0 win at Delaware.
 
Ghigliotti leads the Hawks and is tied for the Atlantic 10 lead with nine assists and ranks second on the team with seven goals and 23 points, good for fifth and third in the league, respectively.
 
The Hawks return to action on Friday at VCU before visiting #3 Virginia on Sunday.
