Derek Simpson each scored 15 points apiece to lead five Hawks in double figures as Saint Joseph's topped Penn, 86-69, on Friday evening at The Palestra. With Friday's victory, the Hawks earned a spot in the title game of the Toyota Big 5 Classic on December 7 at Wells Fargo Center.

How It Happened
• Up 12-11, Saint Joseph's used an 11-0 run to open a 23-11 advantage on a
Dasear Haskins bucket at 11:17.
• The Hawks extended their lead to as many as 16 in the first half before taking a 46-33 lead into halftime.
• A pair of free throws by Reynolds II capped a 7-0 start for St. Joe's in the second half as the Hawks opened a 53-33 lead.
• Saint Joseph's extended its lead to as many as 32 points and never allowed the Quakers to get closer than the final score.
