LAST TIME OUT
  • The Hawks overcame a 14-point first half deficit before a game-winner from Utah with under five seconds remaining gave the Utes a 72-71 overtime win in Salt Lake City.
  • Laura Ziegler recorded her third-consecutive game with a double-double, finishing with 22 points and 12 rebounds in the overtime defeat.
  • Gabby Casey set a career-high in back-to-back games, her 21 points against Utah besting her previous high (20) set at Southern Utah.

HAWKS IN THE NCAA RANKS
  • The Hawks rank seventh in the country in assists per game (21.4) and 14th in the NCAA in assist/turnover ratio (1.53).
  • St. Joe's sits just outside the top 10 in the country in three-point percentage, ranking 12th in the NCAA after knocking down 40.9% of its attempts from distance.
  • The Hawks also rank as one of the most elite shooting teams from the foul line, sitting 11th at 80.6% from the charity stripe.
  • Laura Ziegler's four double-doubles on the season ranks third in the NCAA.
  • Talya Brugler is one of 10 players in the country with a 100% rate from the free throw line (min. 10 made).

MILESTONE MARKS
  • Head Coach Cindy Griffin earned her 400th win at the helm of St. Joe's over Syracuse and her 450th career win against Southern Utah.
  • Mackenzie Smith sits 34 points shy of Chelsea Woods (2014-18) for 16th in scoring in program history.

  • Laura Ziegler needs just 95 points to become the 31st Hawk in program history to reach 1,000 career points.

SERIES REWIND
  • The Hawks and the Red Flash meet for just the third time in program history, all three matchups having come since the 2011-12 season.
  • St. Joe's looks to continue its perfect start against the team from Loretto, Pa., having won both previous games by at least 17 points.
  • Assistant coaches Katie Kuester and Ashley Prim each were part of the success against the Red Flash, Kuester scoring a game-high 16 points in the series opener. Prim tallied eight points in that game, adding nine points, five rebounds and four assists in the second meeting between the two teams.
