AT THE TIP
  • Saint Joseph's kicks off the 2024-25 season on Wednesday evening inside Hagan Arena as the Hawks host Goldey-Beacom in head coach Cindy Griffin's 24th season at the helm of her alma mater.
  • St. Joe's returns 11 starters from last year's team that set a new school record with 28 wins. The Hawks also return four starters; nearly 85 percent of production from 2023-24's squad back on Hawk Hill.

MEET THE NEW HAWKS
  • Lauren Greer - a walk-on from Archbishop Wood, Greer joins the team as a four-time PIAA State Champion. Greer helped Wood to District 12 Championships in all four years, while winning a pair of PCL Championships. The Philadelphia native also earned a pair of PCL championships in soccer, while catching the game-winning touchdown pass to take PCL Championship flag football honors, before winning the Pennsylvania State Championship. 
  • Meja Jägerskog - a graduate of RIG Luleå Elite Academy, Jägerskog helped her team to Sweden Division 1 North Champions in her senior year. Jägerskog has represented Sweden's national team at the youth level, playing for the Sweden U18 team and for the U17 3x3 team. The Swede played for Chatham High School in New York in her freshman season and played club ball for the NYC New Heights. 
  • Rhian Stokes - A 1,000 point scorer for Ewing High School, Stokes finished her high school career as a three-time Colonial Valley Conference Player of the Year. A three-time All-State selection, Stokes helped lead her team to a NJSIAA Group 3 State Championship in 2022-23. Stokes also played club basketball for the Philadelphia Belles and the Philly Rise.

DEBUTS UNDER CG
  • The Hawks have won five consecutive home openers, with the last loss coming in the 2018-19 season.
  • Over that five-game win streak, the Hawks won by an average of 17.2 points per contest.
  • Overall, Coach Griffin is 18-5 in home openers at St. Joe's.
  • Over the last two seasons, the Hawks have registered at least 10 wins in the non-conference (21-3). St. Joe's finished 11-1 in the non-conference portion last season to yield its best start of a season since 1976-77.
