PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's returns to the court after nearly a week off, welcoming the Dayton Flyers in a Valentine's Day matchup inside Hagan Arena on Wednesday. The Hawks encourage you to wear pink as we team with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund for our Play4Kay game, with the first 500 fans to the game receiving rally towels.
 
The Hawks enter tied at the top of the Atlantic 10 with the team's longest win streak of the season, putting nine consecutive wins on the line when welcoming the Flyers to town.

• It was a clash at the top of the A-10 standings that delivered in the Hawks' last time out, earning a 12-point victory over George Mason as both entered with an eight-game win streak on the line while the Hawks snapped the unblemished home record for the Patriots.
• St. Joe's found itself in a hole early on, falling behind by double-digits for the first time since December 9 against Villanova. The Hawks used a 18-0 run in the second quarter to take a lead they would never relinquish. St. Joe's had a double-digit lead of its own cut to as little as seven late in the fourth before seven consecutive points from the Hawks extinguished any late rally to move to 12-0 on the road.
• Returning to the starting lineup, Laura Ziegler picked up where she left off with her sixth double-double in as many games, tallying game highs in points (19) and rebounds (14). Both Talya Brugler and Mackenzie Smith each added 11 points in the win.

The Flyers nearly average 15 rebounds per game on the offensive glass, ranking 21st in the country. More than 20 points come from the bench, fourth-most in the Atlantic 10. Dayton shoots the fewest threes in the league, less than 15 attempts from deep per game. The Flyers also rank last in turnovers, prone to 18.8 turnovers per game.
 
• Arianna Smith leads the conference in rebounding, averaging 11.0 rebounds per contest to rank 11th in the NCAA. Smith is also one of the most elite offensive rebounder in the country, her 4.8 offensive boards per game the sixth-best mark in the nation. Ivy Wolf leads the team in scoring with 11.5 points per game while also running the offense with a team-best 3.6 assists per contest. Destiny Bohanon pitches in 11.2 points per game, while Mariah Perez also adds 6.3 rebounds with a team-high 19 blocks.
