RICHMOND, Va. – Saint Joseph's continues its road trip with a matchup against VCU in a clash between two teams near the top of the Atlantic 10 standings.
The Hawks are 13-0 on the road, entering with the most road wins in the country and the second-longest active road winning streak in the NCAA.

• St. Joe's overcame a slow start against La Salle, limiting the Explorers to just 12 points in the second half to complete a 60-29 rout over their Big 5 and Atlantic 10 foes inside Tom Gola Arena.
• The Explorers looked to limit the Hawks' possessions with a slow-paced half-court offense, the game plan working in the first half limiting St. Joe's to four points in the first quarter and 19 at the break. However, the Hawk offense exploded to shoot 50% in the second half while the defense held the Explorers without a field goal in the final quarter to cruise to a 31-point win.

Talya Brugler led the Hawks again with 16 points on the afternoon while adding seven rebounds and five assists.
Chloe Welch added 12 points in the win, while
Laura Ziegler added eight points and 10 rebounds.

• The Hawks entered their second consecutive week with four votes in the AP poll, the first time receiving votes since the 2013-14 season.

The Ram's offense is powered by their three-point field goal percentage, ranking second in the conferece with a 35.1% clip. Conversely, VCU holds a nation-best 23.4% on its three-point defense. Te Biasu, an All-Atlantic 10 selection in every season for the Rams, leads the team with 15.2 points per game and 3.0 assists per game. Te-Biasu lands sixth on the A-10 scoring list while Timaya Lewis-Eutsey (13.1 ppg) ranks 13th in A-10 scoring.
• The Rams stifling defense ranks number one in the A-10 and second in the nation, only allowing 51.2 points per game and holding opponents to a 35.8 field goal percentage.
