LAST TIME OUT
• The Hawks responded to a midweek defeat to VCU with a win over Rhode Island, leading end-to-end and staving off a fourth quarter comeback from the Rams to return to winning ways.
• St. Joe's grew a 12-point lead at the half, limiting the Ram offense to nearly 35% while knocking down 15-33 of its field goals. Taking a 13-point lead into the final quarter, the Hawks fell victim to a 10-0 run that cut the advantage to two with 1:20 to play. The Hawks sunk all eight free throws in the final frame, able to hold off Rhode Island for a 72-67 win.
Paula Maurina put in her best effort in her time on Hawk Hill, finishing 6-7 from the field and 7-7 from the line for a season-high 19 points. Talya Brugler finished with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Chloe Welch (14) and Mackenzie Smith (13) finished in double digits.

EARNING VOTES IN THE POLL
• The Hawks remain in the WBCA Coaches Poll with eight votes in the Feb. 27 edition.

TWO HAWKS EARNING NATIONAL ATTENTION

SERIES HISTORY
• The Hawks are 39-15 all-time against Fordham, the win against the Rams earlier this season breaking a six-game losing streak.
• St. Joe's won 18 of the first 19 games against the Rams in the series history, but Fordham has had the recent advantage with an 11-5 record in the last 16 matchups.

Fordham: Roster | Schedule | Stats
• One of the hottest teams in the conference entering Hagan Arena, the Rams coming in with a five-game win streak. Part of the reason for the success has been the consistent production from Taylor Donaldson, who leads the A-10 in scoring with 17.7 points per game. Donaldson leads the conference in three pointers made per game (2.79), while also getting it done on the defensive end with 2.17 steals per game for the second-best mark in the A-10. Emy Hayford joins Donaldson in double figures with 12.8 points per game, her 42.5% from the field the eighth-best mark in the Atlantic 10. Nine Rams tally at least three rebounds per game, led by Matilda Flood's 5.7.

• Fordham has scored 70+ points three times in the five-game win streak, vaulting up the A-10 standings to sit nearly .500 on the year. The Rams are one of the best in the conference on forcing opponents into mistakes, leading the league with 9.7 steals and forcing 17.85 turnovers per game. Fordham also ranks fourth in blocks with 3.7 per contest. The Rams have an identical field goal percentage and defensive field goal percentage (40.2%).
