LAST TIME OUT
• Despite facing a UMass team that shot nearly 60% after three quarters, the Hawks were able to fight to a double-digit victory to extend the win streak to eight games last Saturday.
• St. Joe's scored the final eight points of the first quarter after falling behind early, that lead being cut in half as the teams went to the locker room at the break. Every run from UMass had a response from the Hawks and as the Minutewomen fell cold late in the game, the Hawks were able to take advantage to extend the advantage beyond the reach to capture victory.
Talya Brugler put on a show, finishing 10-14 from the field and 9-11 from the line to finish with a season-high 30 points, the second time eclipsing 30 in her career. Brugler also led the team in rebounds and assists, while Mackenzie Smith added 14 points in the win.

• For the fourth week of the season, the Hawks enter the USA Today Sports Women's Basketball Coaches Poll. The Hawks have five votes in the poll, the most they've had all season.
