MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team returned to action on Friday afternoon, falling to Howard by a 4-1 score.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Howard took the early lead via the doubles point.
Charlotte Kordonowy and
Brooke Tackett earned a 6-3 win in the third flight, but the Bison were able to finish off a win in the first to secure the point.
• Kordonowy tallied her second victory of the day in singles play, taking a 6-3, 6-3 result in the fourth flight, but the visitors claimed the next three flights that finished, clinching the match.
