MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team returned to action on Friday afternoon, falling to Howard by a 4-1 score.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Howard took the early lead via the doubles point.  Charlotte Kordonowy and Brooke Tackett earned a 6-3 win in the third flight, but the Bison were able to finish off a win in the first to secure the point.
 
• Kordonowy tallied her second victory of the day in singles play, taking a 6-3, 6-3 result in the fourth flight, but the visitors claimed the next three flights that finished, clinching the match.
 
UP NEXT
The Hawks are back on the court on Tuesday when they host Villanova.
