Saint Joseph's softball team completes a series sweep of St. Bonaventure as the Hawks downed the Bonnies, 9-1, in six innings on Sunday in the series finale at SJU Softball Field.

Sarah Cancila singled home
Kayla Tauber in the bottom of the first to make it 1-0.
• Malito doubled home Cancila later in the first to extend the edge to 2-0.
• Malito made it 3-0 on a wild pitch to cap a three-run first.
• A passed ball allowed a pair of runs to score for the Bonnies to make it 3-2 in the top of the third.
• Saint Joseph's got the run back in the bottom of the fourth as Tauber scored from third off a throwing error by St. Bonaventure following a line out by
Gianna Muhaw.
• The Hawks struck for three runs in the fifth to open a 7-2 advantage.
• A sacrifice fly by
Sierra Fretz scored
Nicole Bondoc for the first run of the fifth.
• Malito scored on a throwing error off a stolen base, and
Morgan Lester singled home
Haley McMenamin for the other two runs of the inning.
• A two-run double by McMenamin made it 9-2 in the bottom of the sixth.

Karlee Smith scored the walk-off run on a sacrifice bunt by Fretz.
