PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team met its first conference foe of the season, falling to Dayton by a 5-1 score on Saturday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Dayton claimed the doubles point, taking both the first and second flights.
Charlotte Kordonowy and
Brooke Tackett were level at 5-5 in the fifth flight when play was halted.
• The visitors took four of the five completed singles flights to secure the match victory.
Victoria Tracey was a winner for the Hawks, taking the first flight via a 7-5, 6-4 score.
