ST. LOUIS – The Saint Joseph's softball team fell to Saint Louis in the finale of a three-game series on Sunday as the Billikens scored the decisive run in the bottom of the seventh for the 5-4 win.
How It Happened
• Saint Louis took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on a RBI single by Jane Kaniecki.
• A solo home run by Abby Mallo made it 2-0 in favor of the Billikens in the second inning.

Kayla Tauber brought the Hawks within one, 2-1, on a RBI double that scored
Gianna Muhaw in the third.
• Tauber tied the game at 2-2 later in the third as she scored on a fielding error.

Sarah Cancila and
Haley McMenamin to give St. Joe's a 4-2 edge in the fifth.
• The Billikens tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth behind a RBI double by Cami Newbanks and a RBI groundout by Kaniecki.
• Saint Louis' Newbanks singled home Abby Ulsas for the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh.
