PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team kicked off its weekend of home matches with a 4-0 defeat to George Washington on Friday in a match that was moved to the Legacy Indoor Tennis Facility due to weather.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Charlotte Kordonowy and
Brooke Tackett were 6-3 winners in the third doubles flight, but the visitors took wins in flights one and two to secure the first point of the match.
• GW took wins in the top three flights to clinch the match. Kordonowy led in the fourth flight, 6-4, 3-3, while Tackett was ahead 6-4, 3-5, in the fifth and
Ireland Amato was on top 6-3, 2-1, in the sixth when play was halted.
