MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team took on Richmond at the SJU Tennis Complex on Saturday, falling to the Spiders by a 7-0 score.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• For the second day in a row,
Charlotte Kordonowy and
Brooke Tackett claimed a doubles win, taking the third flight at love, but Richmond took the overall match lead via wins in the top two flights.
•
Victoria Tracey won the first set of her top-flight singles match, but ultimately went down by a 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 score. The Spiders also took the remaining five flights to finish off the match.

"It was a tough day; conditions were not easy," head coach
Jeff Puhan said. "They were the better team; we need to compete better when things aren't going our way. That has to improve tomorrow against Rhode Island."
