BRONX, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph's softball team fell to Fordham in its doubleheader at Bahoshy Field on Wednesday afternoon, 7-3 and 6-5.
How It Happened - Game One
• Fordham opened the scoring with a four-run bottom of the first, starting with a sacrifice fly by Sydney Wells that scored Bailey Enoch.
• A double by Eva Koratsis scored Neleh Nogay to make it 2-0.
• Koratsis made it 3-0 as she scored on a RBI single by Bella Ayala.
• An error by the Hawks allowed Ayala to score later in the inning to give the Rams a 4-0 edge.
• Saint Joseph's got on the board in the top of the third as
Morgan Lester scored on a sacrifice fly by
Sarah Cancila to make it 4-1.

Morgan Lester brought the Hawks to within 4-2 in the fifth as she scored on a RBI groundout by
Kayla Tauber.
• St. Joe's
Nicole Bondoc stole home later in the fifth to make it a one-run contest, 4-3.
• Fordham added three insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth, and worked around three two-out singles by the Hawks in the seventh to take the opener

• Tauber went 2-for-4.
• Lester was 1-for-2 with two runs scored.

Emily Siler moved to 7-8 as she allowed six earned runs on 13 hits, and struck out two.
How It Happened - Game Two
• Saint Joseph's struck first in the second contest, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first.
• Cancila doubled home
Gianna Muhaw to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead.
• A two-run double by
Hailey Malito scored Cancila and Tauber to make it 3-0.

Meghan Sinkus drove in Malito with a double of her own to open a 4-0 advantage for Saint Joseph's.
• A three-run home run by Wells in the bottom of the third brought Fordham back within 4-3.
• Ayala tied the game at 4-4 in the fourth inning with a solo home run.
• Sinkus put the Hawks back in front, 5-4, in the top of the fifth with a RBI single that scored Malito.
• Wells doubled home Nogay in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at 5-5.
• Michaela Carter won it for Fordham later in the seventh on a sacrifice fly that scored Mallory Mcclellan.
Inside The Boxscore - Game Two
• Malito was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
• Sinkus was 2-for-3 with a RBI.
