DAYTON, Ohio – The Saint Joseph's softball team fell to Dayton in its series finale, 10-0, in five innings on Sunday.
How It Happened
• Dayton took a commanding 8-0 advantage in the bottom of the first as the Flyers plated eight runs on eight hits.
• Kirnan Bailey extended Dayton's lead to 10-0 with a two-run single in the bottom of the second.
• The Hawks had their best scoring opportunity in the top of the fifth as they got two runners on, but the Flyers worked out of trouble.
