WASHINGTON – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team has been seeded 10th for the 2024 Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championship, which opens on Thursday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
The Hawks will meet seventh-seeded St. Bonaventure in the opening round on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. The winner will take on second-seeded Richmond in the quarterfinals on Friday at 11:30 a.m. The semifinals and championship match will follow on Saturday and Sunday.
Six-time defending champion VCU earned the top seed, with the Spiders second, Dayton third, and Saint Louis fourth. George Mason and Davidson are seeded fifth and sixth, respectively, in front of the Bonnies, while Duquesne was slotted in eighth and Fordham ninth.
Video for all rounds of the Championship will be available free of charge through the USTA's Playsight system, allowing viewers to choose which court they are watching. Admission to the Championship is free.
