Saint Joseph's battled Loyola Chicago to the final out of Sunday's series finale, but the Ramblers held off the Hawks, 4-2, at SJU Softball Field.

• Loyola Chicago broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fourth as the Ramblers scored four runs on consecutive bases-loaded walks to take a 4-0 edge.
• The Hawks made it 4-1 in the bottom of the sixth as
Sarah Cancila scored on a sacrifice fly by
Riley York.
• With runners at second and third and one out in the bottom of the seventh, Cancila delivered a RBI single that scored
Nicole Bondoc to bring St. Joe's to within 4-2.
• The Hawks would get the go-ahead run to the plate, but Loyola Chicago got out two consecutive outs to end the contest.
