Walk-Off Win Gives Softball Series Sweep Of George Mason

Saint Joseph's scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 4-3 walk-off win and three-game sweep of George Mason at SJU Softball Field on Sunday.

How It Happened
• Haley McMenamin drew a bases-loaded walk that scored Sarah Cancila to make it 1-0 in the bottom of the first.
• Marlaina Bozek tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the third.
• Riley York answered with a solo home run in the bottom of the third to put the Hawks back ahead, 2-1.
• Logan Pickford connected on a two-run home run with two outs in the top of the seventh to give George Mason a 3-2 lead.
• Cancila tied the game with a one-out home run in the bottom of the seventh.
• Hailey Malito followed with a walk, and advanced to second on a wild pitch.
• York drove home Malito on a hit that sailed over the right fielder's head.
