LAST TIME OUT
  • 11 three-pointers from the Saint Joseph's women's basketball team helped secure a 67-55 win over Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon inside the Mullins Center.
  • St. Joe's converted four of its first five three-pointers in the contest for an early lead. Trailing by four, the Hawks capped off an 11-0 run to end the first half with a wide-open triple as time was expiring to create a nine-point gap. St. Joe's was able to keep the lead above nine until over two minutes to play in the fourth quarter before Mackenzie Smith's and-one restored order as the Hawks earned a 67-55 win.
  • Laura Ziegler scored a game-high 23 points, securing 14 rebounds. Gabby Casey tallied 12 points, while Mackenzie Smith and Rhian Stokes each added 11 points in the win.

HAWKS IN THE NCAA RANKS
  • Laura Ziegler has recorded 13 double-doubles on the season, ranked second-most in the NCAA. The 13 double-doubles matches her total from last season, while her 34 career double-doubles puts her second all-time in program history.
  • Ziegler ranks fifth in the country with 9.7 rebounds per game, leading the NCAA with 9.7 defensive rebounds per game.
  • Emma Boslet ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and 23rd in the country in assist/turnover ratio (2.57).
  • The Hawks are 14th as a team in assist/turnover ratio (1.33) while the 18.2 assists per game ranks 17th in the country. St. Joe's leads the Atlantic 10 in both categories.
  • Ziegler and Smith rank in the top 10 in scoring in the conference.

MILESTONE MARKS
  • Laura Ziegler ranks ninth all-time in program history with 762 career rebounds and 88 career blocks. Ziegler's 1,121 points ranks 22nd in school history.
  • Paula Maurina is two games shy of reaching 100 games played in her career, 61 of the 98 games played in the last three seasons on Hawk Hill. Maurina spent two seasons at Hartford, making 37 appearances.
  • Mackenzie Smith is 25 rebounds shy of becoming the third player on the team to reach 500 career rebounds, Laura Ziegler and Talya Brugler the 23rd and 24th Hawk in program history to reach 500 rebounds in their career.
  • Brugler is 25 points shy of entering top five in program history in scoring, while Mackenzie Smith ranks 10th in school history with 1,408 career points.

SERIES REWIND
  • St. Joe's enters Wednesday evening's contest against St. Bonaventure with a 46-13 record heading into the 60th meeting between the two teams.
