DAYTON, Ohio – The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team went toe-to-toe against one of the heavyweights in the Atlantic 10 for better than 70 minutes, but late scores by Dayton saw the Flyers come away with a 4-1 win on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dayton jumped on the board early, scoring in the third minute
- Leal tied the contest at 1-1 in the 37th minute. After a Jayda Shehadi throw in deep in the offensive third bounced around, Leal settled it and chipped a right-footed shot over the head of the Flyers' keeper.
- The game remained 1-1 into the 74th minute as the Hawks worked through heavy Dayton pressure.
- At the 73:24 mark, the Flyers were able to score on a penalty kick. They added two goals in a three-minute stretch in the final six minutes of play to create the final score.
