HOW IT HAPPENED

- Glen Lala attempted the first shot on target for the Hawks in the 51st minute as the Wildcat shot stopper was equal to the shot. Jennings registered a save of his own a minute later to keep the deficit within one.
- Jake Ross nearly tallied an equalizer in the 87th minute after being played behind the back line with a perfectly weighted pass. The junior stretched to beat the goalkeeper to the shot but attempt ricocheted off of the frame of the goalie to stave off a late strike.
