Women’s Cross Country Finishes 11th at Atlantic 10 Championship

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Saint Joseph's women's cross country team competed at the Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday afternoon, finishing 11th overall.
 
About the Event:
  • The 6K event was held at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course, hosted by Dayton.
  • A total of 14 Atlantic 10 teams participated, with 126 athletes competing for A-10 championship honors.
  • For the fourth consecutive season, the Loyola Chicago Ramblers won the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Championship.
 
How the Hawks Finished:
  • Grace Rudder led the Hawks with a strong performance, crossing the finish line in 22:14.0.
  • Katrina Endres posted a time of 22:23.2, finishing just 1.8 seconds ahead of Sabrina Paz at 22:25.0.
  • Chloe Care added another great performance with a time of 22:25.5, achieving a personal best and contributing to the team's top-five scoring.
  • Ali Fink rounded out the Hawks' top-five scoring with a personal best of 22:38.6.
  • Abby Tuturice and Jonalee Adames continued the strong effort, each setting personal bests of 22:51.9 and 22:54.8.
  • Carlyn Segrave-Daly set a personal best with a time of 23:03.7.
  • Grace Fennell crossed the line in 23:04.4, with Khya D'Angelo just behind at 23:04.8, rounding out the Hawks' performances.
 
Up Next:
The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals will be held on November 14.
